I love false eyelashes; I always use it whenever it comes to makeup. Have a big event coming up, or just want your everyday look to be more dramatic? Fake eyelashes are a great way to accentuate your eyes .Every girl likes to have long, luscious eyelashes but not everybody is blessed with them. I have been playing with fake lashes for quite a while on every model of mine and I have come up with a few tips on how to put them on quickly and successfully.

However I do know that it can be very tricky to apply it sometimes. Here is the step by step application of fake eyelashes.

1. TRIM– Before the application you should start by measuring your false lashes to insure that they fit your eye shape. If they’re too long, cut them to fit your eye shape. Leave the false eyelashes slightly longer than your own if you wish. Remember, the side where you cut it should be placed at the end of your eye, while the side with the shorter lashes should end up at the inside corner of your eyes.

2. GLUE APPLICATION – Squeeze eyelash glue onto the back of your hand or on your makeup dish and run the eyelash along it. Then wait for a minute and to let glue get tacky, this is the most important step. When the glue is tacky it will stick to your lash line. I use the adhesive from Makeup forever, it is very light white glue and you can actually easily peel it off with your fingers when it’s dried. It is white in color when it is wet but will dry transparent.

3.HOW TO APPLY - Place the lash as close to your lash line as possible using a tweezer or using your fingers making sure that the outer and inner corners of the lash are in place up against your lash line.

4. MASCARA -Wait at least 3-5min for the lash glue to dry before retouching any eye makeup and even mascara .When its dried, apply some mascara to your gorgeous lashes, to make your own lashes blend in with the false eyelash. And that’s all you are ready to go…

HOW TO REMOVE THE EYELASHES- To remove the eyelash, pull the inside edge of the eyelash which is close to your nose and gently pull lashes out sideways, If you feel its stuck, use a drop of water or a makeup remover.

Remember fake eyelashes can be reused; if you are using on yourself ,make sure to clean it and keep it in the case they come in so you have place to store them .I usually don’t reuse the same eyelashes on different models due to hygiene reason.
